Abstract
The various possible methods of measuring thermal conductivity by observations in a borehole are discussed in the light of practical considerations. Three designs of measuring head are described and methods of reducing the observations are given. The possibility of obtaining results by heating a considerable length of a borehole is discussed.https://doi.org/10.1071/PH560286
