Abstract
In a recent paper (Jacklyn 1954) it was shown that the barometer coefficient for cosmic rays at Macquarie Island varied consistently according to the type of air mass present over the station. This was found to be due to the different average values of (the rate of change of the height of the assumed production level for mesons with surface pressure) in the two air mass types considered.https://doi.org/10.1071/PH550190
