Abstract
The waiting list reduction program was introduced to improve access to elective surgery in public hospitals throughout NSW. The main aim of the program was to halve the number of patients awaiting admission for elective surgery within the first 12 months, with particular emphasis on reducing the number of patients waiting more than six months.https://doi.org/10.1071/NB98006
