Abstract
The Chief Health Officer's Report on the Health of the People of New South Wales aims to provide a concise account of the health status of the population, with particular emphasis on specific subgroups and on high priority health problems. The report brings together data from epidemiologic surveillance routine administrative systems occasional surveys, and studies conducted to answer specific health questions.
