Abstract
The Waiting List Reduction Program was introduced as an initiative to improve access to elective surgery services in public hospitals throughout NSW. The main aim was to halve elective surgery waiting lists within 12 months. Particular emphasis was to be placed on those people who had been waiting more than six months for surgery.https://doi.org/10.1071/NB96002
