Abstract
Between 2002 and 2004, the number of births in NSW remained stable at about 86,000 per annum. Between 2004 and 2005, the number of births in NSW increased by 5.8 per cent from 85,626 to 90,610. This chapter describes the demographic changes that accompanied this rapid increase in births.https://doi.org/10.1071/NB07S15
