Abstract
Between 2000 and 2004, about 20 per cent of mothers were born in non-English speaking countries (Table 54). Over the 5 year period, there were slight declines in the percentage of mothers born in Southern Europe, South East Asia and North East Asia, and slight increases in the percentage of mothers born in Middle East and Africa, and Southern Asia.https://doi.org/10.1071/NB05S22
