Abstract
The need for effective interventions to encourage and support optimal breastfeeding practices has been established. The previous paper in this issue discusses the range of potential factors that influence breastfeeding practices. This article provides an overview of the potential interventions that address these factors. It also summarises the findings of an evaluation of systematic reviews and meta-analyses of interventions that has recently been published in the report ‘Overview of recent reviews of interventions to promote and support breastfeeding’.https://doi.org/10.1071/NB05014
