Abstract
A key feature of the NSW health system is its 17 geographically-based area health services (AHSs). Funding to the AHSs by the NSW Department of Health has been guided by the objective of providing the AHSs with a share of resources that allows the achievement of comparable access to health services.https://doi.org/10.1071/NB02019
