Abstract
Different influences have guided the evolution of ‘men’s health’ and ‘women’s health’ as political issues. Social discourse about women’s health has been grounded in women’s public dissatisfaction with existing health care services. In contrast, claims for attention to men’s health are made on the basis of epidemiological evidence of inequality, particularly in mortality rates.https://doi.org/10.1071/NB01109
