Abstract
A revised MDC form was implemented from 1 January 1998. The new form includes data elements necessary for most of the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards/Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (ACHS/RANZCOG) clinical indicators for obstetrics. The revision also included changes required for the data elements to comply with national coding standards described in the National Health Data Dictionary.https://doi.org/10.1071/NB00S11
