Abstract
New records of distribution, a nesting occurrence and the feeding of the Glossy Black Cockatoo are given. This species can readily be distinguished as adults and immatures, males and females by characters of plumage. The Red-tailed Black Cockatoo can be distinguished only as adult males or others. The two species are compared and the need for careful checking of distribution emphasized.https://doi.org/10.1071/MU974249
