Abstract
Species of Procellariiformes have been counted about the Narrows of Cook Strait between the North Island and the South Island from 1944 to 1968. These data comprise 24 complete crossings supplemented by observations made on other trips or from land over the same period. The occurrences of the species in season are discussed. There are few common species and the tides of the area probably influence their distribution.https://doi.org/10.1071/MU969155
