Abstract
Sentry Bank is a prominent physiographic feature in the Sandakan Basin of the Southern Sulu Sea of the Philippines, some 40 km off the north-east coast of Borneo (Sabah) and 800 km south of Manila (Fig. 1). The area is covered by Geophysical Survey and Exploration Contract 41, in which Hartogen Energy acquired an interest through its purchase of the hydrocarbon exploration portfolio of Endeavour Resources in 1984.https://doi.org/10.1071/EG987115
