A shallow water Telseis seismic survey, offshore W.A.

Abstract

A shallow water seismic reflection survey conducted in waters surrounding the Lowendal and Monte Bello Island groups from November 1985 to February 1986 was Australia's first Telseis survey (Fig. 1). The survey, conducted in exploration permit WA?192?P by Geophysical Service Inc. on behalf of Bond Corporation and their co-venturers, resulted in a total of 209 km of 36 fold data being acquired over a period of 63 working days at an average of 3.3 km/day.
