Abstract

Gravity and magnetic surveys south and southeast of Broken Hill reveal an area of around 2000 km2 where Willyama Complex or older rocks lie at relatively shallow depths beneath Cainozoic cover. The area lies immediately southeast of the Redan fault which is commonly considered to be the major boundary between the Willyama Complex and the Murray Basin in N.S.W.
