Abstract
Many problems encountered in geophysics necessitate the solution of complex field equations, usually of a differential form. Equations of this type are commonplace in Applied Physics and Engineering and since the advent of digital computers many different numerical methods have been applied to their solution.https://doi.org/10.1071/EG974001
