Abstract
The use of Geoflex (or Cordtex or Primacord, to use more familiar terms) is not new: however, it is a recent enough innovation to be of some interest when it is introduced into a new basin or a new set of circumstances. The case at hand represents, as far as we know, the first adaption of the technique to the desert areas of Central Australia. Again, as far as we know the nearest prevlous use was in south western Victoria , about 750 miles distant where, of course, the terrain and operating conditions varied greatly.https://doi.org/10.1071/EG971216
