Abstract

Contrary to Baker and Smith?s (1910) statement, the turpentine from Araucaria cunninghamii Ait. does not contain methanes or menthenes. Identified constituent* include n-nonane, n-undecane. (-)- and (±)-α-pinene, (-)-β-pinene, myrcene, (±)-limonene, terpinolene, caryophyllene, and humulene.
