Annie received her PhD in 2015 from the Australian National University in the group of Professor Anthony Hill. She held an Endeavour Research Fellowship at the University of Bath with Professor Michael Hill, followed by post-doctoral positions with Professor Andrew Weller (University of Oxford) and Professor Dominic Wright (University of Cambridge). In July 2019, she was appointed as a Rita Cornforth Fellow at the Australian National University, where she currently holds an ARC DECRA exploring catalyst design strategies.
