U. E. Wiersum received his Ph.D. degree in 1968 under the supervision of Professor Hans Wynberg at the University of Groningen, The Netherlands. After a post-doctoral term with Fred Bordwell at Northwestern University in 1969, he returned to The Netherlands to join AKZO-Nobel, Arnhem, and retired in 1998. He promoted FVP to solve fundamental and industrial problems. |
