Abstract
Extraction of the leaves of Argostemma yappii King (Rubiaceae) has yielded the new dimeric pyrrolidinoindole alkaloid (+)-isochimonanthine (6), the structure of which followed from its spectroscopic properties.Keywords: Alkaloids; natural products; Rubiaceae; pyrrolidinoindole.
