Synthesis of the Lichen Depsides Glomelliferic Acid, Loxodellic Acid, Glomellic Acid, Their 4-Ortho-Demethyl Analogs and Oxostenosporic Acid

Abstract

Total syntheses of the lichen depsides glomelliferic acid (1), loxodellic acid (2), glomellic acid (3), 4-O-demethylglomelliferic acid (4), 4-O-demethylloxodellic acid (5), 4-O-demethylglomellic acid (6) and oxostenosporic acid (7) are reported.
