Abstract

A product from the thermolysis of 2,2-dimethyl-5-(endo-3′- phenylsulfinylmethylbicyclo [2.2.1]-hept-5′-en-2′-ylidene)-1,3-dioxan-4,6-dione (1) in carbon tetrachloride is 2,2-dimethyl-5-(3′-methylene-exo-5′-phenylsulfinylbicyclo[2.2.1]heptan-2′-ylidene)-1,3-dioxan-4,6- dione (3).
