Abstract
Two new diterpenes have been isolated from the resin of E. cuneifolia Kraenzlin and interrelated with a known viscidane diterpene. The conversion of these diterpenes to the sesquiterpene analogue,(–)-β-acoradiene, allows the absolute stereochemistry of the viscidane diterpenes to be defined.
