Neutral and anionic derivatives of the diphenylgallium halides Ph₂GaX (X = Cl or Br)

Abstract

Derivatives Ph₂GaX.L and Ph₂GaX₂-, where X = Cl or Br, and L = pyridine or triphenylphosphine, are prepared from Ph₂GaX and characterized, the anions as salts with (Ph₃P)₂ N⁺. Vibrational spectra are reported and assigned.
