Crystal structure of Bis[N,N-diethyl(dithiocarbamato-S,S')][N,N-diethyl-(dithioperoxycarbamato-O,S)]chromium(III). (A redetermination)

Abstract

The crystal structure of the title compound, [Cr(S₂CNEt₂)₂(OS₂CNEt₂)] has been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction methods, being refined to a residual of 0.061 for 2756 'observed' reflections. Crystals are monoclinic, P2₁/c, a 16.195(5), b 8.316(2), c 17.939(7) Å, ,β 96.65(3)º, Z 4. The chromium atom is coordinated by two S,S-chelate ligands and one O,S-chelate ligand, the latter being disordered over three sites.
