Abstract
On the basis of the inversion reaction
Λ-(+)589-Cr(ox)(trien)+ + HCl → Δ-(-)589cis-α-CrCl2(trien)+
the oxalato complex is now believed to have the cis-β configuration, rather than the previously suggested cis-α.
