Abstract
The density, viscosity and transference number of aqueous cobalt(II) chloride at 298.15 K over the concentration range of 0.1-4.0 mol kg-1 are reported. The transference number was measured by the e.m.f. method. The transference number of the cobalt ion constituent was found to be constant above about 3 mol kg-1.
