Long-chain and other substituted 2-Nitrophenyl active ester derivatives of some amino acids

Abstract

Various 4-carboxamido-substituted 2-nitrophenols have been obtained by reaction of active polyester intermediates with aliphatic amines including long-chain, chiral, and diamine representatives. Someof the compounds were used as precursors of long-chain and other active ester derivatives of L-alanine and L-proline.
