Crystal structure of (E)-5,7-Di-t-butyl-3-(3',5'-di-t-butyl-5'-methoxy-2',5'-dihydrofuran-2'-ylidene)benzofuran-2(3H)-one

Abstract

The crystal structure (E)-5,7-di-t-butyl-3-(3',5'-di-t-butyl-5'- methoxy-2',5'-dihydrofuran-2'-ylidene)-benzofuran-2(3H)-one, C₂₉H₄₂O₄, has been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction methods at 295 K from counter data and refined by least squares to a residual of 0.086 for 1488 'observed' reflections. Crystals are monoclinic, P2₁/a, a 12.136(6), b 10.055(4), c 23.011(11) Ǻ, β 96.87(4)°, Z4.
