Abstract
(Z)-3,3?-(1,2-Ethenediyl)bispyridine has been prepared by decarboxylation of (Z)-2,3-di(3-pyridyl) acrylic acid and converted into (E)-3,3?-(1,2-ethenediyl)bispyridine by heating in nitrobenzene in the presence of iodine.https://doi.org/10.1071/CH9771153
