A synthesis of some model kynurenine peptides

Abstract

Protected peptides containing glycine and DL-2-o-nitrophenacylglycine have been synthesized and then converted into a series of model DL-kynurenine peptides by catalytic hydrogenation with generation of the kynurenyl residue and concomitant removal of protecting groups.
