Abstract
Uranium(V1) oxide, uranyl sulphate, uranyl carboxylates and uranyl chloride form UO2(HS04)2 when dissolved in disulphuric acid which polymerizes at higher concentrations. Uranium(V1) chloride gets solvolysed to form the acids H [U(HS04)7] or H2 [U(HS04)8] which behave as non-electrolytes in disulphuric acid.https://doi.org/10.1071/CH9760429
