Dipole moments and conformations of di(nitrophenyl) disulphides

Abstract

Experimental dipole moments (10³⁰μ/Cm) are reported and analysed for the following as solutes in benzene at 25°C:di(4-nitrophenyl) disulphide (12.6):di(3-nitrophenyl) disulphide (14.5):di(2-nitrophenyl) disulphide (17.6).
