Abstract
A method is described for stabilizing the high temperature (yellow) form of HgI2 at room temperature.The laser Raman spectrum of yellow HgI2 at 20°C is reported. A mechanism for the HgI2 phase transition is proposed.https://doi.org/10.1071/CH9741555
