Synthesis of some new iodoquinolines

Abstract

Seven new iodo- and five new iodo[¹³¹I]-quinolines were synthesized. Either the Sandmeyer reaction or homogeneous isotopic exchange was used for the introduction of ¹³¹I into the molecule. Six tritium-labelled quinoline derivatives were also synthesized.
