Abstract
The monomeric carbonyl nitrosyl halide complexes M(CO)4(NO)X (M = Mo, W; X = Cl, Br, I), except Mo(CO)4(NO)Cl, have been prepared by the reaction of nitrosyl ion upon M(CO)5X- salts. The infrared and mass spectra of these compounds are reported and discussed.https://doi.org/10.1071/CH9730241
