Preparation of substituted benzofurans. Pyridine-induced solvent shifts in their N.M.R. spectra

Abstract

A number of benzofurans and related benzofuranol derivatives have been prepared and fully identified by spectral criteria. The structures of these substances have been established by means of pyridine-induced solvent shifts in the p.m.r. spectra.
