Mean amplitudes of vibration for some pyramidal axial XY₃ZUV type molecules

Abstract

Mean amplitudes of vibration for 12 XY₃ZUV type molecules (methyl-, silyl-,and germyl-acetylenes, methylhaloacetylenes) have been determined. Bastiansen-Morino linear shrinkages for the chain XZUV have also been evaluated. The results were found to differ significantly from the results of previous workers.
