Insect moulting hormones: the synthesis and configuration of some 20-hydroxyecdysones

Abstract

A number of model 20-hydroxy steroids have been synthesized. The N.M.R. spectra of these and certain related compounds have been measured and the data so obtained used to assign configuration at C20 to synthetic 22-deoxy-β-ecdysone and ,β-ecdysone.
