Colouring matters of Australian plants. XV. Lomandrone, lomastilone, and lomazarin

Abstract

The structure of lomandrone has been confirmed by synthesis of its methyl ether. Two more new naphthoquinone pigments, lomastilone and lomazarin, have been isolated from Lomandra hastilis roots and structures have been assigned on the basis of spectrometric analysis.
