Abstract
Several N,N-dialkyldithiocarbamates of bis(cyclopentadienyl)titanium(111) have been prepared from cp2TiCl (cp = π-cyclopentadienyl) and sodium diallryl-dithiocarbamates under inert atmosphere. The bright green air-sensitive compounds are paramagnetic with one unpaired electron per titanium atom. Their formulation as monomeric, symmetrical bidentate chelate complexes (See diagram in article) has been established from spectral, magnetic, and molecular weight data.https://doi.org/10.1071/CH9700463
