Abstract
[4-T]Anthranilic acid has been synthesized and administered to Acronychia baueri. The furoquinoline alkaloids skimmianine (I) and acronidine (II) have considerable residual radioactivity, but acronycidine (IV) is only feebly radioactive. A partly specific ?N.I.H. shift? is postulated and its implication to the order of introduction of hydroxyl groups in vivo is discussed.https://doi.org/10.1071/CH9692437
