Coordination compounds of Group IB metals. IV. Triethyl- and triphenyl-phosphine complexes of aurous alkyl xanthates

Abstract

The preparation of new compounds in the series Et₃PAuSC(S)OR (R = Me, Pr, Pr¹, Bu, Bus, pentyl) and Ph₃PAuSC(S)OR (R = Me, Et, Pr, Pr¹) is described. The compound (Ph₃P)₂AgSC(S)OEt was also prepared.
