Abstract
The steam-volatile material from the leaves of Eucalyptus agglomerata Maiden and E. mckieana Blakely has been shown to contain a high proportion of a new P-triketone, agglomerone C13Hl8O4. On the basis of degradative work and N.M.R. studies, agglomerone has been shown to be an equilibrium mixture of two tautomeric enols (IV) and (V).https://doi.org/10.1071/CH9641418
