Abstract
An unsuccessful attempt to prepare the porphyrin (VII) is reported. The proposed synthesis (III → VII) was frustrated by the fact that neither of the intermediate dipyrromethanes (III and IV) could be prepared.https://doi.org/10.1071/CH9640987
