Abstract
The pyrolysis of 2,2,4-trimethylpentane (" iso-octane ") at 700 °C has given a tar in which 30 different aromatic compounds have been identified. Mechanisms for the formation of these compounds are discussed.https://doi.org/10.1071/CH9620605
