Abstract
Reactions of the main phases (AXn where n≥l) occurring in the 12 systems ,comprising the sulphides, selenides, and tellurides of Ti, Zr, Hf, and Th are discussed. These reactions include those with oxygen, chlorine, alkali metals, sulphur, and selenium, acids, alkalis, oxidizing agents, alcohols, hydrogen, and thermal degradation in a vacuum. A number of heats of formation are given.https://doi.org/10.1071/CH9580458
