Separation of monomethylated p-Nitrophenyl-β-glucoside on a carbon column

Abstract

The gradient elution of p-nitrophenyl-β-D-glucopyranoside and its four monomethyl ethers from a carbon column has been investigated. It does not appear possible to separate the monomethyl ethers from each other by this method.
